Why Should You Bring Your Child to see Dr. Anna?

When our children are born, nearly every part of their little bodies are looked at carefully.

  • Listening to the lungs and heart

  • Looking in the ears, eyes and mouth,

  • Assessing hearing

  • Feeding and digestion

  • Elimination

  • Movement

... just to name a few!

Can you name the system that is being overlooked? If you guessed the nervous system, you're right! The nervous system is not traditionally considered in the health of a newborn child. To me, this doesn't make sense!

The nervous system controls and coordinates every function of our bodies. It controls the heart beat, breathing, digestion, ability for the tongue to move for nursing to be successful and literally every other function you can imagine. It is arguable the most important and foundational aspect of our bodies.

This is where chiropractic comes in! As a pediatric, nervous system based chiropractor, I am taking the nervous system seriously. I analyze, assess and adjust the spine in order to improve the function of the nervous system. Gentle chiropractic care helps your child's brain and body communicate better so they can grow and thrive without interference.

What does that mean? A healthy, happy, calm child that cruises through well checks, milestones, growth and development.

When should you get your child on to see a pediatric chiropractor? It's never to early and it's never too late. Dr. Anna has adjusted hours old infants, toddlers and teens. It's much easier to maintain (and improve!) health than it is to repair it once problems arise. Even if your child shows no symptoms, it's very possible they could still benefit from seeing a chiropractor consistently.

What areas do your children struggle with and what would you like help with?
